结肠黏膜内有杯状细胞,可分泌碱性液体,保护结肠黏膜,润滑 
大便,以助排便。
结肠不产生酶,无消化作用,但有细菌消化作用。结肠内有很多 
细菌,大肠杆菌占70%,厌氧杆菌占20%,此外还有链球菌、变形 
杆菌、葡萄球菌等,也有少量原生物与螺旋体。肠细菌对产生生 
理需要的物质有重要作用。比如食物内缺乏维生素时,[在]肠内 
可根据人体的需要调节合成维生素,这些细菌消化纤维素,合成 
各种维生素。比如维生素k、维生素B1、维生素B2、维生素H、维 
生素B12等。比如长期用抗生素,可导致维生素合成与吸收不良, 
引起维生素缺乏症。结肠的血液供应主要来自肠系膜上动脉和肠 
系膜下动脉。
(1)右半结肠的动脉由肠系膜上动脉而来,有结肠中动脉、结肠右 
动脉、回结肠动脉。
①结肠中动脉:在胰腺下方自肠系膜上动脉分出,在横结肠缘附 
近分出左右两支,分布于横结肠右三分之一,并分别与左、右结 
肠动脉吻合。约有3%的人无结肠中动脉,横结肠由左、右结肠动 
脉的分支供血;另有10%的人有副结肠中动脉,发自肠系膜上动脉 
的左侧壁和肠系膜下动脉,偏左侧进入横结肠系膜内,供应横结 
肠左半部及结肠脾曲的血液。
②结肠右动脉:起自肠系膜上动脉的中部,结肠中动脉的稍下方( 
有时可与结肠中动脉合为一干),沿腹后壁腹膜深面横行向右,至 
升结肠附近分出升降两支。升支多与结肠中动脉的右支吻合,降 
支与回结肠动脉升支吻合,供给升结肠和肝曲血液。结肠右动脉 
来自肠系膜上动脉的占40%,来自结肠中动脉的占30%,由回结肠 
动脉分出者占12%,另有18%的人无结肠右动脉,由回结肠动脉及 
结肠中动脉供血。③回结肠动脉:为肠系膜上动脉的终末支,在 
结肠右动脉稍下方发出,在十二指肠横部下方腹膜后,向下向右 
分成升降两支,升支与结肠右动脉降支吻合,降支到回盲部分成 
前后二支,与肠系膜上动脉的回肠支吻合。
